Colette Snyder, CFP®, and Marisol Rodriguez-Guzman recently visited Westminster High School, the school Marisol graduated from, for Career Day hosted by TRIO Upward Bound. The event took place in the school library, where students gathered to explore different career paths and ask questions about their futures.

Colette and Marisol shared insights about what it means to work in finance and financial planning, explaining how they help individuals make informed decisions about saving, investing, and planning for their future. They also spoke about their own career journeys—how they got started, what inspired them, and the challenges and rewards of working in financial services.

Students were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions about money management, education, and the skills needed to succeed in the financial industry. It was an inspiring afternoon filled with curiosity, connection, and encouragement for the next generation of professionals.
